And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ. (Eph. 4:11-12)

Pastor Kirk BelbenPastor Kirk was called to the ministry and ordained in 1996; he began pastoring the Home Church in 1998. He is married; he and his wife Christine have three adult children. A Bit of Church HistoryThe Home Church began as a small group of believers meeting Sunday mornings in the Belben’s living room. As the fellowship grew, so did the need for a larger facility. In 2000, the Home Church moved to its present location at the Paradise Grange Hall. |
From the beginning, the Home Church has focused on equipping the saints for ministry, in order to edify the Church, and evangelize the community for Christ. This includes faithful teaching of the Scriptures and personal discipleship. There is an emphasis on developing and cultivating Christ-centered relationships.
