When and Where we Assemble
And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near. (Heb. 10:24-25)
Sunday Mornings
We meet each Sunday morning at 10:00 am at the Paradise Grange Hall. Our Sunday morning services begin with worship in song, followed by a time of prayer requests, then a verse-by-verse exposition of the Scriptures. Typically, we cover a New Testament book a few verses at a time, allowing us to "set the plow deep" and apply the Bible to daily living. The teaching includes Greek word studies, pertinent cross- references, and practical application. Ultimately, the goal is to learn to obey God's Word in every area of life in order to glorify the Lord. On the first Sunday of the month we share in Communion.
Wednesday Nights
We meet each Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm at the Paradise Grange Hall. Unlike Sunday mornings, Wednesday night Bible study allows for more discussion. These studies focus on practical and Biblical instruction on topics such as finance, child-training, inductive Bible study, and Biblical counseling and discipleship. Regardless of the topic, believers are encouraged to study and apply God's Word throughout the remainder of the week (James 1:22-25).
